An Amber Alert out of Yakima has been issued for a 1 year old child reportedly taken at gunpoint on Monday.

This happened at 801 Central Avenue in Yakima. Barajas was located at about 8 a.m.in the custody of his mother.

The Yakima police department says an investigation revealed that the child's mother and father divorced but did not come up with a custody agreement.

Authorities have canceled the AMBER ALERT for a missing 1-year-old boy.

Bastinelli said he didn't know where Mendoza was captured, but officers are still looking for a silver, four-door Chevrolet Impala.

Leonnel weighs 45 pounds and is about 2 feet tall. He was wearing a maroon shirt with gray sleeves with red and blue checkered trousers.

Jessica Mendoza, 24, may have been involved, according to police. He has blonde hair and green/blue eyes.

Police say Mendoza broke down the back door, pointed a gun and took the child.

Manuel Mendoza is 5-feet-10 and 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. A license plate number is not available. He has a tattoo on his right forearm that says "waste" and a tattoo on his left forearm that says "land". "He's about 5'10" and Jessica is a 24-year-old with blonde hair and green eyes, she's 5'4".
