Galaxy S8 to use facial recognition for payments

20 March, 2017, 07:42 | Author: Nadine Todd

This piece of tech would be slightly tweaked to go up to a 1000 Fps for the Galaxy S8 twins, thereby making it the only device with a rear camera that can capture in the slowest motion. Notably, Apple has already used pressure sensitivity as "3D Touch" in its iPhone 7 which was also developed by Samsung Display.

Previous year, Samsung launched new Galaxy J, A and Z series with S Bike mode, ultra data and power-saving features developed with Indian consumers in mind.

Furthermore, pictures of a Samsung Galaxy S8 glossy black variant have also been leaked on Weibo showing the device from all angles.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a foregone conclusion. The Galaxy S8 is rumored to carry either the Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 9 chip, both of which are the arguably the best in the market right now.

For those unaware, the metal-clad Galaxy C7 Pro sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution.

Samsung's new phones will have curved screens just like the Galaxy Note 7.

These new screenshots seem to confirm the rumour that Samsung will drop the physical Home Button from the front of the device. This is also good news for everybody else who doesn't use the Gear VR; a 4K screen would eat up way too much battery life.

A Bloomberg report indicates that Samsung is set to introduce facial recognition along with fingerprint scanning and iris scanning on the Galaxy S8 for added security. In addition to that, Samsung is also believed to incorporate the all glass and aluminium body for the Galaxy S8 twins. Seriously, this thing is the new hotness - but it's been so widely and comprehensively leaked that we know nearly everything about it already. Surely, if Samsung Galaxy S8 is able to produce close to a thousand FPS, then its specification must be better than this. So if that's a feature you're planning on using, it may be your bank that holds up the process, rather than Samsung. Nearly every single detail is known about the device, even though we are still ten days away from the release event. Today, though, that may have been revealed...
