  • Glenn Beck Attacks Tomi Lahren on Twitter: 'Wait, Libertarian Views?'

Though Lahren's surprisingly liberal stance on abortion is not exactly fresh news, Twitter-with some help from Lahren's own tweets-wasted no time pointing out the divide between Lahren's stance and her base. I don't personally advocate for it.

Glenn Beck, the founder of TheBlaze, criticized Lahren for saying she had libertarian views while supporting economic stimulus, President Donald Trump's executive orders, and House Republicans' attempt to overhaul the Affordable Care Act.

The comments received negative replies on Twitter from The Blaze reporters like Kaitlyn Schallhorn, who said that "Even Hillary Clinton didn't call pro-life conservatives hypocrites".

The news comes after Friday's fiery interview on "The View" where Miss Lahren made the shocking announcement that she is pro-choice and slammed pro-lifers as hypocrites. I'm someone that's for limited government.

"The chances of her being brought back [in September] were pretty near zero before yesterday", the Caller's source was quoted as saying about Lahren's role on The Blaze.

"I get a lot of attacks from conservative women as well", Lahren told the crowd. "I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker". There's only tension between believing abortion should be legal-which is all being "pro-choice" means-and the Constitution's prescription of "life, liberty, and property" protection for all if you believe that personhood begins at conception.

"The Blaze can not be about me, me, me, me", he added later, in another apparent shot at Lahren. Beck tweeted Heck's article with the message, "Peter Heck gives me no quarter and he shouldn't".

Writing for The Federalist, Nicole Russell argued that being pro-life and pro-limited government is a consistent position. In fact, that's precisely what legalized abortion does: enables the powerful (grownups) to prey on the weak (unborn babies those grownups created, in nearly all cases in a consensual act).

"It's equal hate from all sides for me", she said, laughing.

The Daily Caller reported last week that Lahren is considering parting ways with the Blaze "in September if not sooner". While Hasselbeck leans rightward, she supports abortion rights and same-sex marriage.

"If he's so anti-woman", Lahren positioned, "why did he select a female to run his campaign?"

"If Kellyanne Conway had been a Democrat, you all at this table would have been applauding her, singing her praises".
