  • Guess prepping new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches that come in two sizes

Each will have a "mineral glass" cover with a touchscreen display and are powered by the new Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with no mention yet of how much RAM or internal storage will be included.

Ahead of the launch, a lot of information has surfaced about the watch.

Decidedly aimed at the fashion market, neither the Gc nor Guess watches will feature LTE.

The Connect will be available in 41mm and 44mm sizes targeting females and males respectively.

In total, more than a hundred face, complication and color options will be available to Guess Connect owners, giving them plenty of customisation choices to choose between. Another nifty feature on the watch would be its ability to send text messages straight from the watch by using keyboard or handwriting recognition. Now, thanks to an anonymous tipster for Android Police, we have our first real look at the watch in the flesh... These apps include fitness apps as well. We should also note there's no rotating crown like on the LG Watch Style, but given that this is in all possibility a prototype maybe the consumer-ready product will come with one. The prototype watch showed in the images runs Android Wear 2.0 on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. You should not buy its smartwatches. This time, Guess is working with Google and Qualcomm, and the result looks considerably smarter. Guess Connect Android Wear is expected to go on sale sometime later this year - in Fall / Winter 2017.
