  • VENYA GESHKIN- TWITTERThe Samsung Galaxy S8 should be on offer in a variety of colour options

Here is everything you need to know about the Galaxy S8.

But rather than being the usual black colour option we've seen leaked numerous times before, this time around, the handset in the shots comes with a violet finish. According to the tipster, Samsung Galaxy S8 will cost € 799 (Rs 64,000 approx), and Galaxy S8+ will be priced at € 899 (Rs 72,000 approx).

Users could also be treated to a better camera that is rumoured to be able to shoot video at 1,000 frames per second.

One other detail worth noting about these colors is that no matter which you choose, you'll be getting a black front. This makes the device look sleeker and more stylish. Apparently, a new cloned Galaxy S8 smartphone, which is made in China, has been released, which features a design nearly similar to the original S8 and costs only $100. This difference might fall because of the late launch of the S8 that is rumored to be on April 21. The home button may be embedded underneath the front glass panel.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release is not yet known, but then the savior of Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature 3D OLED Touch. The smaller S8 device may be similar in size to the Galaxy S7 Edge, which could mean its price could also be similar. They are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC (U.S. only) and the company's Exynos 9 Series 8895 chip (Global). Apart from sporting a bigger screen, the S8+ will come with nothing different.

Well, it also seems like the upcoming Samsung flagship will be featuring a camera that supports ultra slo-mo video recording as well, according to a recent post published on Gadgets 360. The phone has been taken through all types of processor and graphics-intensive tests - same tests that the likes of Apple iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 3T have also passed - and the results are impressive to say. It can recognise text and objects through the devices camera and track them down online.

The Galaxy S8 marks the first flagship model to be released after the Galaxy Note 7 phablet, which was discontinued a year ago due to battery problems that caused some of the devices to catch fire.
