Iraqi officials say a bombing in Baghdad has killed at least 23 people.

The Daesh terrorist group has claimed responsibility - according to a statement circulated online - for the Monday evening attack that injured 45 others when a vehicle laden with explosives went off in a crowded shopping area in al-Amil neighborhood in southern Baghdad.

Iraqi officials said that almost 23 people died whereas 45 others were wounded in a suicide auto bombing in Baghdad on Monday.The attack targeted a commercial area in Baghdad's southwestern Amil neighborhood, police and hospital officials said.
