TMZ reports that competitor Modern Appealing Clothing has filed a lawsuit that claims Ivanka Trump's clothing line is benefitting too much from her position as First Daughter.

But her brand may ultimately suffer in court!

MAC has two clothing and accessories boutiques in San Francisco, according to their website, but the suit seeks to represent all women's clothing and accessory companies that operated in California between the day after the election through the date of the trial.

White House advisor Kellyanne Conway was counselled after a possibly illegal endorsement of Ivanka Trump's clothing line last month - but now she may have landed herself in even more hot water after competitors claimed her plug gave Ms Trump's brand an unfair advantage.

Since her father took office, Ivanka Trump has seen her fashion line dropped or reduced at multiple retailers, including Nordstrom, T.J.

Ivanka Trump, woman-for-campaign-purposes and daughter of a poorly-executed pumpkin pie that was set on the window to cool and accidentally fell out, has several "fashion" lines that everyone seems to have collectively made a decision to no longer fuck with. While the lawsuit doesn't cite particular instances, a potential example would be the brand promoting a bracelet that Ivanka wore on "60 Minutes" in December.

The lawsuit says MAC's business has been negatively impacted because, since the election, sales of Ivanka's brand have surged several hundred percent compared to previous year (a Slice Intelligence report says USA sales of the brand on Amazon grew 332% in January and February compared to 2016).
