  • We May Play As An Ancestor of Altair In Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed Empire, the next entry in the franchise that is reportedly set in Egypt and set to be a full reimagining of the series, has still not been officially announced (though Ubisoft has discussed it officially previously). Sure, we got the movie, but that wasn't any good. While images and other information point to Ancient Egypt, there has been a lot of confusion about the game's release date.

In addition to all of the temples, pyramids, monuments, and buildings we'll likely be able to climb, we can probably expect boat travel, horse travel, huge deserts, and more. However, a Swiss retailer may have dropped a hint regarding the game's release date. We all know that Assassin's Creed Empire exists, here's hoping that it actually releases in October. It appears to have been changed, as Google Translate tells us the listing now says "fourth quarter 2017".

Swiss retailer World of Games made a listing of Assassin's Creed Empire on their website today. While there's no confirmation on any of it, the mere prospect is very interesting to think about.

There has been no official word by Ubisoft about the recently released leaks for the game.

That said, the existence of the game is an open secret, and that's putting it generously.

According to some, the fact that the title is scheduled for the end of this year ensures its presence at E3 2017.
