China says trademarks registered equally as Ivanka Trump gets more approved

Using the prestige of government service to build a brand is not illegal. Some argue that the more her business broadens its scope, the more it threatens to encroach on the ability of two of the president's most trusted advisers to deliver credible advice on core issues like trade, intellectual property and the value of Chinese currency. Just this week, we learned that she was awarded three trademarks in China-the same day she dined with President Xi Jinping.
