Where Biebs possibly redeemed himself in the new remix is actually trying his hand at Spanish instead of conforming to the typical bilingual remix standards.

All has been pretty quiet on the Justin Bieber front recently, which is a bit of a shame.

Justin Bieber, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee broke a musical record earlier this week when Bieber hopped on the remix of "Despacito".

The "Sorry" singer's vocals are featured on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's hit "Despacito".

Hours after the track's release, Fonsi made a surprise appearance during Bieber's Purpose Tour concert in Puerto Rico at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum Tuesday night.

For his part, Fonsi took to social media after the show, writing, "Thanks for the invite to the show @justinbieber Fui a ver el show y termine arriba del escenario", and adding hashtags. The original music video for "Despacito" generated close to a billion views on YouTube since the release in January and topped Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart as number one for eleven weeks. "It's wonderful!" Bieber said to him after the performance.

The original "Despacito" track has been number one for eleven weeks in a row on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and is now number 49 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. "I know you guys love this guy".
