In Season 4 Star Wars Rebels will continue to drive the Star Wars saga into new, unexplored realms of the galaxy and promises new surprises and action-packed adventures. Kennedy told the morning show, " Sadly, Carrie will not be in nine, but there is a lot of her in eight".

Directed by Rian Johnson ("Looper", "Brick"), The Last Jedi was filmed on the west coast of Ireland and at Pinewood Studios near London.

The footage from the eighth installment in the blockbuster space opera, due for release on December 15, was shown at the "Star Wars Celebration" gathering in Orlando marking the 40th anniversary of the original movie.

The film's writer/director chose to forgo a good sleep before the Friday morning unveiling of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer to personally thank fans for their support as they patiently waited to be among the first allowed into the event.

Feloni did stress that this doesn't mean that we wont see more from Lucasfilm Animation which will continue. "We loved each other, but we would fight, we were judgmental..." a statement that lead him to share an illustrative anecdote: "does that make me royalty?" "And I think kids today got that with Rebels".

"I promise you, if you go first, I'll heckle your funeral", Hamill remember Fisher promising him after balking at the idea of posthumous praise. Actor Josh Gad, a Disney star from another universe ("Frozen", "Beauty and the Beast"), hosted a panel including Johnson, producer Kathleen Kennedy and cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and a new addition, Kelly Marie Tran. She has already appeared as Princess/General Leia in five movies. But believe me, I can say I know what it's like when I don't get to end a series. He said her part is the biggest new role in the film.
