Eric Bailly thinks his Manchester United teammates should be criticised

Manchester United fans were caught by surprise when Jose Mourinho named his starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Sunderland.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring for United before Sebastian Larsson was dismissed for Sunderland just before the break, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford both added goals in the second half to confirm an easy three points at the Stadium of Light.

United had plenty of chances to extend its lead as Sunderland tried to get back in the game and finally took one in the 90th.

Twitter user @oibanji posted a short clip which showed Mourinho questioning the chant with a quizzical look on his face.

Shaw has been criticised on more than one occasion by Mourinho this season and the United boss claimed after the 1-1 draw with Everton that the 21-year-old had been playing with "his body and my brain".

United have 57 points from 30 games, four behind fourth-placed Manchester City having played a game fewer. While they have a game in hand on the Tigers, they've failed to score in over 11 hours of Premier League football, and it's hard to see them coming close to survival.

The match on Sunday marked Shaw's tenth league appearance for the Red Devils in another injury plagued season.

"Normally Sergio plays in the Europa League, and that is next Thursday, so not bad for him at all to have a match before that", Mourinho said. I don't want to shout about that [decision to send Seb off] but things didn't go for us today.

In the 89th minute Ibrahimovic combined with substitute Rashford who beat Pickford with a cross-shot for his first league goal since September. We reacted to the results of yesterday because Man City and Liverpool won and it left us in a position of 'yes or no?' and it was a yes.

"Every player should receive some criticism because we aren't ideal, so we have to accept the criticism from the coach and keep on working because the most important thing is to work and improve and gather experience".

Ibrahimovic, 35, has 28 goals in all competitions and Bailly said: "He has a great value amongst the team". I believe in what I do and I just play my game and try to enjoy it. "We'll keep going until it's mathematically impossible to stay up". "It was under control but we needed the second goal to kill mentally the opponent", United chief coach Jose Mourinho told his club's website.
