In his tweet, Trump pointed to "S.C" likely a reference to the successful nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, but when his 100th day rolls around on April 29, that accomplishment may be the lonely exception that proves the rule.

Trump has shown a strong focus on what he can get done in his first 100 days in office, and it's been clear for weeks that he's known it would be a major early measure of his presidency. The White House is pushing lawmakers to include funding for construction of the wall along the U.S. -Mexico border, increased defense spending and $18 billion worth of non-defense cuts. His second attempt at a Muslim ban executive order was blocked by a federal court.

As Trump's first 100 days wind down, he's presumably countering the dozens of stories that will be written to analyze his progress.

The first 100 days of a new administration are generally understood to be among the busiest, when a freshly-sworn-in president can begin making good on promises he made during the preceding campaign.

Among other things, the ambitious plan promised repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, reforming the tax code, ending illegal immigration, repairing infrastructure and fixing Social Security.

President Donald Trump is complaining that a deadline he set for himself for various policy plans is unfair.

"Not only has he accomplished nearly nothing, but rather his initiatives (executive orders stayed by courts, a major legislative proposal failing even to come to a vote when his party controls both houses, etc.) have notoriously been unsuccessful", he added.
