Corden hosted this year's edition of the ceremony, which was his first time.

Channelling the Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke, Corden and Styles also tried on a number of outfits in the vehicle, with Corden marvelling at how Styles can make anything look cool.

James Corden will once again host the Grammy Awards as it returns to the Big Apple.

Corden, based in Los Angeles, also hosted the 2016 Tony Awards (in New York) for CBS, while his late-night colleague Stephen Colbert, based in NY, has been tapped to host this year's Emmy Awards (in Los Angeles) on CBS.

However, it is been said that the 19-year-old singer's bid might not be enough to guarantee him a place on the space voyage, which includes A-listers like Ashton Kutcher, Brad Pitt and Justin Bieber.

The former One Direction star, 23, is enjoying a week-long residency on James Corden's U.S. chat show.

Styles later took his seat at the host's desk and introduced the actual host, James Corden, who appeared as "Harry Styles". Rapper LL Cool J hosted the show for five years prior. He is best known to NY theatergoers for his Tony-winning performance in Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors in 2012.

The 60th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018, and broadcast on CBS. "If you think we screwed up the ending this year, wait until you see what we have planned for the 90th-anniversary show!"
