  • Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Surface Pro 5 Could Release Sooner than Anticipated?

And while we've all been expecting a major refresh in the form of Surface Pro, we are only been handed down an iterative version of the previous Surface Pro 4 model - launched about 18 months ago. Like the recently announced Surface Laptop, the new Surface Pro won't have any USB-C ports. On the specifications front, the device is expected to come with 7th generation Intel processors which will result in improved performance and battery life. Stay tuned, we'll update you as soon as we get any other information about the upcoming Surface Pro 5. In fact, it is all but impossible to distinguish the Surface Pro from the Surface Pro 4; we'll just have to wait until Monday to find out what's happening beneath the hood in terms of new hardware. With the addition of Kaby Lake processors, it seems likely that Microsoft will have different configurations options available of the new Surface Pro. Rumors were claiming that this device will be unveiled on May 23rd.

This device includes few accessories in it such as a pen and a keyboard.

The Alcantara fabric Type Covers were previously exclusive to the signature edition of the Surface Pro Keyboard.

The Surface Pro 4 was first released back in October 2015. Given the fact that it's only a refreshed version of its predecessor, it's a little unusual that Microsoft went for the simple Surface Pro moniker instead.

Well it certainly looks similar to us here at T3 Towers, which is no bad thing, as we were very impressed with the build and design of the Surface Pro 4 when on review.
