  • New search for clues launched about missing boy

Deputies returned Thursday to the South Pasadena park where the boy's father initially was found in order to conduct a large-scale search. Flanked by relatives and law-enforcement officials, the boy's mother issued a tearful plea on Wednesday.

Official confirm that he and Estevez are embroiled in a bitter divorce, but they shared custody of their son.

Andressian Sr. released a statement April 28, the day detectives served a search warrant at his South Pasadena home.

With some of the 80 members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and South Pasadena Police Department on horseback, and others accompanied by search dogs, Arroyo Park, 800 Stoney Dr., and the surrounding area will be scoured for any evidence in the disappearance of Aramazd Andressian, Jr. Don't ever forget that mama loves you to the moon and the stars.

"My son's disappearance is my worst nightmare", a teary Ana Estevez said. "I am counting the days until I see you again, and I will never stop looking for you". He said he went to Arroyo Park with his son before he was to meet his wife for the custody exchange.

Authorities say the boy was last seen April 20 with his father, Aramazd Andressian Sr., leaving Disneyland in Anaheim.

The child is white, 4-feet-1 and 55-pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators revealed that the father had ingested prescription drugs that did not belong to him.

Additionally, detectives alleged that the inside of his auto was doused with gasoline and there were matches in his vehicle. The vehicle had been doused with gasoline, and the elder Andressian could not account for his son's whereabouts.

The father's attorney did not respond to a message left Wednesday.

It's not the first time deputies and police searched Arroyo Park.

Aramazd was last seen about 8 a.m.

"In one moment, I was at the park with my son, and then I found myself waking up in Huntington Memorial Hospital hours later", he continued. Authorities opened up the drain cover and searched underneath, but did not find anything. "I can only speculate that I must have been attacked in the park, given my unresponsive state and subsequent physical condition", the statement said.

It's been a month since Aramazd Andressian Jr. vanished. "I am pleading with the public to come forward with any knowledge of Aramazd Jr.'s whereabouts or information regarding the circumstances leading up to his disappearance".

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said it made the decision, along with the South Pasadena Police Department, not to present the case to prosecutors for filing. There is also a GoFundMe account - www.gofundme.com/findingaramazd - created to supplement the reward.
