YouTube removes mobile streaming requirements, makes it available to everyone

It was earlier available to select channels with a significant subscriber base, but the company has been minimising its requirements.
YouTube originally had a requirement of 10,000 subscribers for users to go live on a tablet or mobile device, which was pretty demanding for the ordinary user.
Livestreaming on the YouTube mobile app can certainly come in handy, as 9to5Google used it at I/O, but Google has held it back just a bit so only certain users can access it.
We've been experimenting and expanding mobile live streaming for nearly a year now.
Google has silently lifted restrictions on one of its YouTube features that many couldn't have used until now: the ability to go live.
That requirement is still officially in place, according to Google's support page, which is why Google is not yet announcing the feature's public launch. This will give you the option to either record normal video that can be saved or edited, or "Go Live" by streaming directly from the app.
