'Baahubali 2' Hindi version surpasses lifetime collection of 'Dangal'

"'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is a one-horse race". When will Baahubali 2's box-office express stop is nobody's guess. Faring far better than the new releases, Baahubali 2 collected Rs 207 crore gross in India and Rs 45 crore gross in the global markets. The movie starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna and Nassar, has collected a whooping Rs 1,227 Cr gross in India and another Rs 275 Cr gross in overseas, taking the total to Rs 1,502 Cr.

It has been three weeks that SS Rajamouli's magnum opus "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" has hit the screens and since then, it has done nothing but break every record at the Box Office. The Rajamouli directorial has now become the first film to amass Rs 1500 crore at worldwide box office. In the opening week, the film earned Rs 534 crore which included Rs 247 crore in Hindi while the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions earned Rs 287 crore.

The Rs 300 crore club has been long surpassed by this mega blockbuster and set a benchmark of Rs 400 crore bracket. The story of Baahubali 2 will be released on the small screen and will cater to the larger audiences. With its release in over 6500 screens exclusively in India and over 9000 screens across the world - the highest for an Indian film till date, this movie continues to have a phenomenal run at the box office.
