"I have one or two lines", he said in the video.

Charlie Hunnam plays Arthur as a brawling tough guy whose posse includes such other thuggish stalwarts as Djimon Hounsou's Bedivere and the archer Bill, played by Aidan Gillen from "Game of Thrones".

"On the days where I was fighting 14-hours a day, I let myself off and went home, and said 'Okay, let's knock a zero off this equation - 100 is good enough for today".

Director Guy Ritchie has defended David Beckham's acting debut in King Arthur, describing him as a "fabulous actor". "He is a fabulous actor and real pleasure to be with".

Speaking at the London premiere of the movie in Leicester Square on Wednesday (10.05.17), Charlie said: "It was lovely (working with Beckham), he did an unbelievable job. He is very quiet and humble and serious", the Sons of Anarchy star added.

Arthur asks "Where do you want me?" as he approaches the Excalibur. "Hands on the hill, stupid".

He said: "When I did "Man of U.N.C.L.E" Ritchie said, 'It will be small and I'll make you look ugly.' With this he said, 'You have a few more lines, ' and then he put me in the middle of about 150 people and made me shout at Charlie Hunnam".

Ossie Ikeogu teased: "Not sure if Posh should dust off the Oscars dress just yet after seeing King Arthur trailer".

Broadcaster Piers Morgan called his performance "Oscar-level excellent", going on to say "he could be the third Mitchell brother!"

"He (Ritchie) was very concerned about it and would bring it up a lot during the audition process", Hunnam tells The Graham Norton Show.

King Arthur will officially be released in United Kingdom cinemas on 19 May.
