Added SIRIUSXM SVP/GM Music Programming STEVE BLATTER, "We've been the exclusive radio broadcaster for EDC LAS VEGAS since its inception and our commitment to this festival as well as many other INSOMNIAC festivals is strong".

A 34-year-old man has passed away at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, the Clark County coroner said on Monday.

SiriusXM announced today that it will be the exclusive broadcaster of several Insomniac music festivals and events, featuring DJ sets, live music performances, and more.

The deceased was identified as 34-year-old Michael Adam Morse, according to an official who asked that we credit the office for this information. "His cause and manner of death are pending, and it looks like it may take up to two months for the toxicology reports". The coroner's office could not immediately provide his hometown. Most were treated at the site, but 16 people, including one employee were taken to the hospital.

The story says that temperatures were almost at 100 degrees at midnight on the last night of the three-day festival, but police wouldn't specifically say why those 1,000 people sought medical treatment, just that 16 people were taken to hospitals and the rest were treated on-site.

Organizers say another 282 people were ejected. Although the EDC schedule runs throughout the night to avoid daytime heat, midnight temperatures rose to 100 degrees during the weekend.

Police said 95 people were arrested for felonies during the event, most for offenses involving drugs.
