Police on Thursday returned to a large Pennsylvania farm to resume digging and sifting through a deep common grave where multiple remains were discovered, including one identified as one of four men missing since last week.

Local, state, and federal investigators have been working to solve the case since their mysterious disappearance.

The missing men are identified as 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, 19-year-old Jimi Tar Patrick, 21-year-old Tom Meo and 22-year-old Mark Sturgis. Mr. DiNardo was named a person of interest in the case of the missing men, and on Wednesday he was charged with trying to sell the auto belonging to Mr. Meo.

The name of the person is Cosmo DiNardo who is a 20-year old, and now he is still arrested for further investigation.

Dinardo has been in custody since Wednesday afternoon after he was accused of stealing and attempting to sell Meo's auto.

On February 9, police responded to a report of gunfire in DiNardo's neighbourhood and found him in his auto with a shotgun, and he told the officers that he had been involuntarily committed, Harran said.

Asked what he wanted to say to the families of the men as he was escorted from court on Thursday, a handcuffed DiNardo said: "I'm sorry". They shot and killed Finocchiaro and then placed him in a metal tank that Dinardo referred to as the pig roaster, Dinardo said, according to the criminal complaint. A second suspect was also arrested and charged in three of the deaths.

DiNardo and Kratz have each provided statements to investigators, and DiNardo has described Kratz as his cousin, according to the district attorney's office. He also said DiNardo sold guns. Also found in the Nissan was Meo's insulin kit for treatment of his diabetes, which the the district attorney said he "never went anywhere without".

Attorney Paul Lang refused to say whether DiNardo killed the young men, who disappeared last week.

Court papers indicate DiNardo then crushed Meo with the backhoe, and Sturgis was fatally shot as he ran.

In his confession, Dinardo detailed a series of shocking killings with no clear motive. "And I'm not sure we'll ever know". "In exchange for that confession, Mr. Dinardo was promised by the district attorney that he will spare his life by not invoking the death penalty", Lang told reporters in Doylestown, where the district attorney's office is located.

CNN News reports that the family of Cosmo DiNardo "feels frightful", and they are "very upset for the families of these boys", which was conveyed by one of Cosmo DiNardo's lawyers to the reporters yesterday.

"I can't predict the future, but that is what I believe", Weintraub said.

According to Justine McDaniel, a writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, all four victims have been identified, and each was shot.

He was released from Bucks County jail on Tuesday night after 10 percent of his $1 million bail was paid by his father. But Kratz told police that Dinardo was the one who shot Finocchiaro. Patrick, who was a year behind DiNardo at a Catholic high school, was last seen on Wednesday, while the other three vanished two days later. DiNardo then continued to shoot at his body after he had died, The Daily Mail said.
