The app collection is now available for download from the Windows Store for users of Surface Dial.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) was lauded a couple of years ago for offering a free upgrade to Windows 10 for many Windows 8 PCs.

According to ZDNet, PCs running on Intel's Atom Clover Trail processors are now unsupported by the Windows 10 Creators Update.

The company announced earlier that it made the decision to retire the Windows Phone application. The features that Microsoft added to the app are Action Center and Live Tile support, as well as support for real-time notifications.

Actually, PC manufacturers had no reasons to create Windows RT devices as Intel's "Clover Trail" Atom chips, which launched in Q4 2012, were a response to the ARM mobile chips used on Windows RT machines.

Microsoft acquired LinkedIn for more than $26 billion dollars previous year and has slowly been working on integrating the professional social media network into its products and services.

Another moaned: "Really? could not check that first? and why doesnt say processor not supported? so amateur. and worse, the creator suggestion came from Windows update".

LinkedIn is already a very notification/email intense service so you will definitely want to adjust your in app and LinkedIn notifications to get all of that under control.

This would be the main app view which duplicates what you see when logged into the LinkedIn website through a browser however, what is not known is if this is just a display of the webpage in the frame or pulling the data from the LinkedIn database and creating the view dynamically.

I can not imagine that a lot of users make use of these features on the desktop, except maybe for a quick glance on the weather tile every now and then. You'll get a notification when someone sends you a message or requests to get in touch with you, letting you take action immediately. The company's statement at the time said that Microsoft's efforts were instead focused on building out the new LinkedIn desktop app, which would arrive this summer - as it has today.
