Abigail was a non-playable boss in the Final Fight games he appeared in, so this will be his first ever appearance on the character select screen.

Capcom announced before the top eight finals at Evo 2017 fighting tournament, that Abigail will be coming to Street Fighter 5.

A lot of people were hoping that the new DLC will bring back some of the iconic Street Fighter characters but instead, Capcom made a decision to give them a new character that many claims feel bland and unimaginative.

Abigail is the fourth character of the second season, and will be available to those who've accrued enough Fight Money, or if you've purchased the Street Fighter V Character Pass. Abigail is definitely a terrifying and indomitable new character, towering quite ridiculously over his opponents.

Polygon reported that in addition to Abigail, another Mad Gear gang member, Hugo, marked his debut in the "Street Fighter" series with "Street Fighter 3: Second Impact".

Capcom France has shared an image on Twitter of what appears to be the next stage to be added in the game. The date will also see the arrival of Street Fighter V retro costumes, specifically for Alex, Ibuki, and Juri.

Meanwhile, alongside the release of Abigail is a brand new stage set in Metro City from Final Fight. Suzaku Castle is meant to be Ryu's dojo where he lives and trains with his friend and master.

Abigail will join the roster of Street Fighter V on July 25.
