Disney World's Star Wars-inspired theme park will be accompanied by a themed resort hotel, and the company revealed some details at the D23 Expo over the weekend. Per the press release, "Representing the largest single-themed land expansion at 14 acres each, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open in 2019, with the first land debuting at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, then at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando".

The hotel will be part of Disney's new "360 vacation" concept - the brand wants to create immersive experiences that allow guests to be part of their favourite stories. "For Disney and Star Wars to get together, that's like the perfect marriage of things that's just wonderful".

"There is such a huge draw for Star Wars, so many people know about it", Joann Dailey, a long-time Star Wars fan dressed up as Princess Leia, told Xinhua at the scene of D23 Expo.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 15. "Disney's Hotel New York-The Art of Marvel" will bring some of the most popular characters from the Marvel universe to France, including Iron Man, The Avengers, and Spider-Man, among others.

All the Star Wars: The Last Jedi news as we hear it, of course. That is intriguing! These famous "ancestral mysteries" and "shocking revelations" concern the Jedi and their past? Galaxy's Edge will transport fans to a never before seen outpost somewhere on the outskirts of wild space, separate from the galactic history we're familiar with. J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are the executive producers. You'll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire. If you're really, really bad though, bounty hunters might hunt you throughout the park, like a new one named Harcos.
