Tom Cruise Injures Self Falling Short in Rooftop Stunt for MI6

Actor Tom Cruise seemed to injured while shoot a scene for Mission: Impossible 6 in London on Sunday where he jumps between two buildings. According to video footage of the incident obtained by TMZ, the Top Gun star paused for a moment after he crashed into the building, then lifted himself up and over the ledge onto the roof. Cruise was strapped into a safety device during the stunt but fell short when he jumped between the buildings.

You see Cruise try to limp away and then collapse.

A request for comment from Cruise's rep wasn't immediately returned.

This mission wasn't quite possible for Tom Cruise.

Meanwhile, producer David Ellison previously revealed that Cruise has been "training for a year" for his role in "Mission: Impossible 6".

"The morning came, and I'm strapped onto the side of that airplane and I'll never forget, I kept telling the pilot, I said, 'Listen, man". It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after Rogue Nation came out. Ellison explained that it comes from "the best place" and is all about entertaining the audience.

The extent of his injuries are unclear.

Chief Christopher McQuarrie is returning for the 6th portion of the establishment, which is set to hit theaters July 27, 2018.
