Drier Weather for Sunday

Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says the weather pattern will stay unsettled, keeping the chance for showers and storms in the forecast through the middle of the week. Morning temperatures will be on the chilly side in the mid to upper 50s.

Temperatures warm on Sunday, with rain and thunderstorms sweeping the area Sunday night and Monday. A high pressure system will team up with the departing low to bring us a dry, northwesterly flow. We will see highs in the mid to upper 70s for the region.

Monday will be a high of 79 with sunny skies to kick off the week. Scattered showers and storms will decrease in coverage this evening with most places dry by the mid to late evening hours. Saturday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid-80s.

Thu: High: 89 Low: 70 Mostly sunny; scattered storms by afternoon/overnight.

Tuesday will see a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms on an otherwise partly-sunny day.
