  • PlayStation Experience 2017 – Date and Location Announced

Tickets for the weekend event are on sale now and cost $75, but if you get in for an early bird pass they'll only cost you $65. PlayStation Experience 2017 will take place on December 9th to 10th at the Anaheim Convention Center in California and tickets are now available to purchase. Early birds will also have the privilege of attending a special event on December 8, where they can interact with game developers and other PlayStation attendees. No children or babies are allowed at the show, so parents had better factor babysitting fees into their trip budget. This year again, the Capcom Cup 2017 will follow the conclusion of PlayStation Experience and will see the Grand Finals of the Street Fighter 5 competition held on December 10th.

For now, Sony has not revealed anything about the titles that are slated to be launched during PlayStation Experience 2017. Planning on going? You can find all the info on the show now out there at the official PSX 2017 site. The dates and venue were actually announced back in June, but newly mentioned on this PlayStation Blog post is the return of The Capcom Cup, which is a Street Fighter V tournament with $250,000 in prizes and a chance to be crowned "Street Fighter V world champion".

Of course, there will also be lots of consoles and games for players to get their hands on at the PlayStation Experience 2017, including this year's big ticket item, the PS4 Pro and Sony 4k tellies, and last year's fading star, the PlayStation VR. 2017 will mark PlayStation Experience's 4th show since its inception in 2014.
