As for the unresolved plot of the missing Quarian Ark, BioWare will explore and finish this plot thread, as well as tell brand new stories, via comics and novels. As it stands now, the single player campaign for Mass Effect: Andromeda is officially in its final state. Controversies regarding facial animations cut off much of the game's hype upon release, while some players complained about the storyline. That means no more updates and no DLC for the controversial sci-fi RPG.

Bioware and the development team behind Mass Effect: Andromeda recently confirmed via the official game's website, that the single player portion of the title will no longer receive game updates and patches. Well, we can expect more details about new multiplayer missions, character kits - and N7 Day celebrations, naturally - in due course. So all I can say to those people who feel that way is, we hear you, and we agree with you.

Mass Effect: Andromeda's lukewarm reception and less than impressive sales have resulted in EA putting the series "on ice", and we've been suspecting for some time now that we won't see any new significant additions to the franchise for a while yet, if ever, and BioWare have now confirmed that that will indeed be the case.

"The game was created to further expand on the Pathfinder's journey through this new galaxy with story-based APEX multiplayer missions and we will continue to tell stories in the Andromeda Galaxy through our upcoming comics and novels, including the fate of the Quarian Ark".

The Andromeda team wrote, "Our last update, 1.10, was the final update for Mass Effect: Andromeda".

Back in June, Engadget spoke to Electronic Arts Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund, who admitted that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" had its bugs and glitches. Let's just hope that Anthem will be BioWare's hail mary.

Are you disappointed with BioWare's decision to can support for Mass Effect: Andromeda? Do you think it's a good idea for BioWare to drop support?
