It has been confirmed that Wayne suffered from an epileptic seizure and when he arrived at Northwestern Hospital, he suffered a second seizure.

He's now been released!

Two days after he was hospitalised following a seizure attack, rapper Lil Wayne has been discharged and advised to take rest for two weeks. "I was close enough to see that he appeared to be drinking water bottles all night on stage, and he spoke clear as day", says the fan.

Yesterday, Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter updated fans on his condition.

Reports surfaced over the weekend that Wayne had suffered a seizure while in Chicago. "You guys are unbelievable", she wrote, adding, "Oh yeah ... and don't believe everything you hear".

"Lil Wayne will be canceling his previously scheduled performance", the club posted on Facebook later that night. An update from Lil Wayne's representative just confirmed that his Vegas gig has been canceled, and the rap star is now resting.

Drai's nightclub, the venue Lil Wayne was set to perform at on Sunday, released a statement onto their Facebook page regarding his cancellation on Sunday. His next scheduled appearance is on September 23, which he will reportedly attend.

The show continued, however, with T.I. taking Wayne's place and performing with DJ Franzen. Our priority is the health and well-being of our artistes.
