Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames have released a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated first-person shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

The trailer features a fair few cinematic cut scenes as the characters talk through their intentions to stir up a second American revolution to fight back against he Nazi overlords that are in charge in this alternate reality 1961. In these troubled times, there's something to be said for a game that lets you blow off steam by using super-powered weapons to reduce Nazis to mush. The idea is to show the events that lead up to the beginning of The New Colossus.

What's more fun than seeing Nazis get punched?

The thought of another country invading America is a startling one, as is the sight of goose-stepping, faceless Nazi soldiers parading down city streets. Series star BJ Blazkowicz will have to rally together rebel forces if he wants to save the day, taking out as many Nazis as they can.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 27, with a version for the Nintendo Switch coming in 2018. Thankfully (Amazing) Grace and her unequivocally majestic afro hair is there to inspire BJ Blazkowicz, and incite an uprising of epic proportions.
