  • The $1,000 iPhone X is a great deal – Apple CEO

Etisalat today announced it will offer the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus starting on Saturday, 23 September on www.etisalat.ae and all Etisalat stores in UAE.

By 11pm, when those with wristbands were ushered into the barricades set up outside the store, about 50 people had gathered.

Apple's iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are now available to buy. Locals normally line up for the new Apple product releases in hundreds.

It's iPhone 8 day!

Most shoppers at an Apple Store in downtown Hong Kong told CNNMoney they were planning to wait for the iPhone X. Those who were there to buy the 8 gave a range of reasons, including its cheaper price tag and the fact that it still has a Home button.

Again there was a huge apology from the writer about how people really were buying the iPhone it is just that no one was queuing any more because they were all waiting for the iPhone X.

"It would be impossible to make a profit from trading an iPhone 8 here".

Australians may have started to line up for the new iPhones before the keynote, but after the announcement that put a massive focus on iPhone X, the country isn't feeling too fuzzy about the already-neglected iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. According to the latest report, the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus might come in with a smaller battery compared to the previous models.

But this tepid response will be compensated by the highly anticipated iPhone X that brings a new design to fans. iPhone X, however, will be one hard to get device as it is (reportedly) yet to go in production.

Apple says it has prepared ample stocks to cope with expected demand for the iPhone 8 and 8 Pluses and it will take less than two weeks for phones to be delivered to buyers, with free shipping, if orders are placed online.
