Vivo X20, Vivo X20 Plus with Full View Display launched: Price, specs

Instead of the single rear camera, the new Vivo X20 and VivoX20 Plus sports dual rear cameras. There are no official words by Vivo on the India launch of the phones as of yet. The aspect ratio on the display is 18:9 similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8, Note8, LG Q6, Xiaomi Mi 2 and other smartphones with a similar display technology. On the battery front, the VivoX20 packs a decent 3,245mAh battery with fast charging support. Let's take a closer look at both the phones.
While both the X20 and X20 Plus come with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio, Vivo X20 features 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display and Vivo X20 Plus features 6.43-inch display. You get Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Funtouch OS 3.0.
Rear camera: It comes with dual cameras at the rear.
The rear dual camera module features a f/1.8 main 12 MP camera and a 5 MP secondary camera, while having a 12 MP f/2.0 dual-pixel shooter on the front for selfies. Since there was no room for it on the front panel, Vivo has positioned the fingerprint scanner at the back of the two phones, right above the company logo. Battery on the X20 Plus is 3905mAh with Android 7.1.1 on top.
The Vivo X20 Plus will be available in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. Both the displays offer Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
Both the smartphones are powered by the latest quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform clocked at 2.2GHz along with Adreno 512 GPU. The Vivo X20 has been priced by the company at CNY 2,998 (roughly Rs. 29,600) while the X20 Plus comes with a price tag of CNY 3,498 (roughly Rs. 34,500). On other hands, X20 Plus comes in at 165.32 x 80.09 x 7.45 mm and 181.5g. As per the availability, both the phones will go on pre-orders starting September 25 in China and will start shipping from September 30.
The Vivo X20 and the X20 Plus will be available in three finishes namely Gold, Rose Gold and Matte Black. The Vivo X20 measures 155.85×75.15x 7.2mm and weighs 159 grams. The connectivity options offered by the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphones include 4G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, and Global Positioning System among others.
