Samsung announced that its Bixby voice capabilities will be available in India, which will allow consumers to experience a smarter way to interact with their smartphones. Consumers can activate Bixby by holding the dedicated button on the Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones, or by simply saying, "Hi, Bixby". "In the future, Bixby will have the learning power to offer more intelligent and personalized interactions and seamless connections across more devices", said Injong Rhee, Executive VP and Head of R&D, Software and Services of the Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics when Bixby's global rollout started. Following the update, users will be able to utilize the power of Bixby's voice commands - ask questions or make requests.
One of the ways in which you can personalize Bixby for your requirements is Quick Commands, which allows you to create custom commands which can be used instead of a sequence of one or more commands. Like for example, If a user clicked a picture and then command Bixby to " Send the picture just taken to Mom". With the time Bixby will get improve to recognize the regular user preference and way of speaking. However, we are unable to install this yet to test out the voice capabilities of the Samsung assistant.
