The feature also is integrated with car-hailing services Uber and Lyft and reservation-booking services OpenTable, Resy and Bookatable.

To find context cards, swipe up on any Snaps that says "more" at the bottom.

Context Cards will aim to teach Snapchat users more about the world and enable them to get more information about whatever catches their eye. Each Card will be tailored to the Story you're watching.

Snapchat's Context Cards are bound to be a big deal for the company and the platform - they're a new way for Snap to drum up business, for one, and they're also just starting out, with plenty of potential to grow in future. The sudden shutdown left thousands of users disappopinted as they could neither receive nor send snaps. Snaps included in Context Cards are those that have been tagged with Snapchat's venue-specific geofilters or any post that has been submitted to the Our Story section.

You will be able to book a table through the app partnered with Bookatable and hail a ride through the app partnered with Uber.

For launch, context cards will be available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on both Android and iOS.

Snapchat has teamed up with several online services to introduce a feature called Context Cards.

The Context Cards will always show you have most relevant information first.

The popular photo-sharing app now has around 166 million users globally.

Over 77% of Snapchatter in the United Kingdom are over 18, 43% of this is made of parents. According to a report in the Evening Standard, Snapchat users faced brief disruption in sending snaps, receiving notifications and logging into their account.

This video will be released to Snapchat users in the coming weeks.
