Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that the Gunners could lose both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.

PSG defender Dani Alves has told the French media he would welcome Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez to the French club.

"Once you're in our kind of situation, you envisage every solution, yes".

Sanchez and Chile will rue the Arsenal keepers lack of knowledge of the rules or perhaps we are being to harsh on a goalkeeper whose reaction should always be to make the save.

Ozil is now again fit and, while Wenger agreed that contract talks with the German were again progressing positively, he says that all options remain open.

It is known that in a World Cup year that players will do their best to build up their form ahead of the competition, and our superstar Alexis will no longer have that target in mind, but does that mean he can concentrate on his playing days for us?

"Both players looked happy here and overall I hope the situation can be turned around".

In the short term, Sanchez has to deal with the disappointment of Chile's failure to qualify for the World Cup, following their 3-0 midweek loss in Brazil. Arsenal are now six points off the Premier League leaders after signing just two players this summer - striker Alexandre Lacazette and left-back Sead Kolasinac.

'It was very physical and mentally I will have to assess the situation'.

Of Sanchez's potential availability on Saturday against Watford, Wenger said: "I will have to speak with him, I watched the whole game [ against Brazil]".

"It is my understanding [that he wants to stay]", said Wenger of the Germany global.

"I am more concerned that yesterday afternoon I watched the whole game, Brazil against Chile, to see how hard the game was and I must say he got some special treatment in this game".
