  • T-Mobile is about to add a new limit to its unlimited plans

For T-Mobile One customers, the One Plus global option can be added for an extra $25 per month, and that'll get you unlimited high-speed data when venturing across the border.

T-Mobile has been luring in customers via a series of big promotions and major perks, and the growing number of subscribers is evidence that this is working.

What Will Be the Impact of The T-Mobile Plan for One and One Plus Users?

. 12, the company will put a 5GB limit on 4G data and speed will be reduced thereafter. T-Mobile notes you can still pay for the One Plus International add-on and get unlimited LTE in Mexico and Canada.

One of T-Mobile's big "uncarrier" moves was to offer global roaming data to most customers for free. However, this is a monthly fee, better than Verizon's plan that offers $10 per day. Now, wherever you call, wherever you travel in Mexico & Canada, your phone just works- like at home. "Less than 1% of people with this benefit travel to Mexico and Canada use over 5GB a month".

Starting on November 12th, the Mobile Without Borders plan will introduce a 5GB LTE data cap on unlimited customers when they're visiting Canada and Mexico.

In order to prevent usage beyond the intent of the product, T-Mobile has unveiled this new plan which will affect T-Mobile ONE, SImple Choice and Legacy plan users. While 5GB is a healthy amount for a short trip, it's still going to change your behavior - you may end up using hotel WiFi when you can instead of relying exclusively on cellular data. The company will also send you an alert when you've used up 80 percent and 100 percent of your LTE data. You will get unlimited amount of data but after a certain cap the service provider will slow down the connection or throttle.

If you have any more queries on the change and how it will reflect on your mobile usage, you can check the dedicated T-Mobile FAQ page to get all the answers.
