  • Nintendo Switch Has Sold Over 2 Million Units In The United States Since Launch

The Switch is making Nintendo catch up to other consoles (feature wise.) Nintendo Switch's online subscription will cost money, but it will give players classic games each month and probably better online experience than Wii U's.

Nintendo has just released the full set of notes for the latest 4.0.0 update. In the meantime, Switch owners can record their epic gaming moments in other titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Arms, and Splatoon 2. All of those games will also prompt you for an update as they need the support built in.

The capture feature works by holding the console's dedicated screen capture button and only supports a "maximum of the previous 30 seconds" of gameplay, which will be saved to the console's album. One thing that has annoyed some people is the lack of eShop pre-ordering/pre-loading for highly anticipated games. That game is coming out soon, right? The only games it works with now are Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Arms.

Given its built-in snapshot tool, Super Mario Odyssey looks like the next Switch title that could support video capture.

Nintendo setup the Switch to only allow save data to be stored on the internal memory, of which there is 26GB available of the 32GB installed. From there, players can trim the clips and share them on Facebook or Twitter.

New profile icons and revamped Switch News app have also been included.

A few new features are added, including the ability to save any of the games at any time, and you can even rewind up to a minute if you made a mistake and want to try again.

Switch's News app has been tweaked so unsubscribing from a news channel now removes its stories.

There's also a neat little feature that allows you to update your game to the same version as someone nearby, with the Match Version With Local Users option.
