  • UK iPhone users lose out on newest iOS Apple Pay feature.

The bug turning the letter "i" into, in most cases, "A ⍰" has been fixed in the latest iOS 11.1.1 update. Other minor bugs are being addressed as well, according to MacRumors. It looks as though Apple is addressing the issue via software updates which include patches for the affected iPhone 8 and iPhone X devices. All of the changes in those updates are now rolled into iOS 11.1.1, which arrived as a small, but very important upgrade to iOS 11.1. The bug fix was first included in the developer beta for the iOS 11.2, and it is now the public beta testers turn to download the patch.

Apple also devised a workaround fix for the issue until the company fixed it in the next iOS update. Apple already provided a step-by-step guide to temporarily disable the autocorrect bug, but a software update is also expected to be released soon.

Over the last few days, most iOS users have experienced the same peculiar bug: the letter "I" was autocorrecting to... something else.

With Apple Pay Cash, iOS users can now send money to their friends using the app.

When you receive money it will automatically be stored on your Apple Pay Cash card.

To request cash from your iPhone, open a conversation in Messages tap the App Store icon tap the Apple Pay icon enter an amount add an optional message tap the upwards arrow to send the request.
