Police say three people believed to be victims of a scam targeting Chinese students have been located.

Juanwen Zhang, 20, was last seen Wednesday afternoon in the Yonge and Grenville streets area.

Police are concerned for the safety of the other two students still missing.

It's believed the students were targeted because they had recently arrived in Canada to study.

Police officials say that given the amount of accessible information on the Internet today, criminals are easily able to exploit vulnerable individuals like foreign students studying overseas.

Police say that the families have been cooperating and hope to have their children back soon. She was located safe and sound on Saturday at around 4:45 p.m.

Police say 16-year-old Ke "Jaden" Xu is still missing.

And Ke (Jaden) Xu, 16, who was last seen in on November 9, was located on Monday morning in Ontario.

Police say one of the victims became aware of the scam when she turned her phone on in the Montreal area.

He is described as six-feet, one-inch tall with a thin build. Xu was possibly wearing a red winter coat, grey trousers and a black backpack at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding these scams is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
