Distributor The Orchard has announced it will not release the film as planned on November 17, and actress Chloë Grace Moretz, who plays C.K.'s daughter in the film, released a statement saying she decided two weeks ago to pull out of promoting the project "after becoming aware of potential allegations against Louis C.K".

As we reported, following the release of an explosive New York Times exposé, the comedian issued a statement on Friday confirming all five accounts of sexual misconduct.

FX followed suit in a statement reading, "Today, FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K. We are cancelling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton".

Louis has now confirmed the truth of the reports relating to the five women victimized by his misconduct, which we were unaware of previously.

FX, the TV network that carries the comedian's show "Louie" and has worked with the comedian on four other shows over eight years, said it's reviewing the matter.

The former Californication actress referenced the rumors on KCRW's The Business radio show just days before the New York Times published their story, saying, "It hurts to read about things that people are saying about him".

An award-winning U.S. comedian on Friday became the latest entertainment industry heavyweight to watch his career unravel over accusations of sexual misconduct, as he was forced to admit to masturbating in front of women.

"I am asking for privacy at this time for myself and my family", Adlon added. I have been remorseful of my actions. It's a predicament for them.

After the allegations spread throughout the mainstream media, his newest film, I Love You, Daddy was canceled and his working relationship with HBO ended. And I've tried to learn from them.

"And I wielded that power irresponsibly", he said.

"Fuck yes they're courageous", Rachel Bloom tweeted, quoting a previous tweet that praised the women who came forward.

"Those opportunities are few and far between; I most certainly didn't want to be the person that was responsible for shutting down a production or even being part of the narrative", she said. Now I'm aware of the extent of the impact of my actions.
