Sledgehammer Games have revealed new weapons, supply drops, gear and more will be coming to Call of Duty: WWII as part of the Winter Siege Event update.

Winter Siege features a new winter version of the Carentan multiplayer map, which is a snow-covered, winter-themed version of the fan-favorite, previously only available as reimagined Carentan to Season Pass owners. Activities include the return of Gun Game mode, double XP playlists, Weekly Orders, Weekly Contracts, and Daily Order challenges.

Check out the full reveal from Activision and Sledgehammer Games below.

Look for the changes to arrive on December 8th when you log-in to Call of Duty WW2.

Captain Butcher will take the role of Quartermaster during the Winter Siege event.

The event also introduces the new seasonally themed Winter Carentan map, which adds a sprinkling of snow to the war-ravaged French town found in the regular Carentan map. Winter Siege will also bring back the limited-return of Gun Game, the beloved party game mode that has players racing through a variety of guns against other players. This beloved mode makes its Call of Duty: WWII debut during the second week of the event as part of a non-stop schedule of special 2XP playlists, delivering a ideal way for players to take a variety of weapons out for a spin and keep their opponents guessing. Headquarters is getting a seasonal revamp too, with a visiting quartermaster along with new Supply Drops full of fresh cold-weather gear. Orders will be rotated each day to allow players multiple opportunities to get the weapons. Winter Siege Supply Drops can be earned for free simply by playing Call of Duty: WWII during the event. Additional variants can be gained through Collection Bounties, or in Winter Siege Supply Drops.
