Battle for Azeroth coming in August

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the next expansion for World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth, will be releasing on August 14. If you've already pre-purchased a digital copy of the expansion, Blizzard will refund that purchase if you enter a CE key before the end of the year.

World of Warcraft is available on PC. Unique to the Collector's Edition is the big box, a double-sided Horde/Alliance medallion, a double-sided Horde/Alliance novela and the Battle for Azeroth Digital Soundtrack. Not only that, if you pre-order World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth you will gain a level boost to 110 immediately. The company has been keeping the experience fresh since 2004 with major expansions and the fun train has no plans to stop in 2018. The standard edition will cost US$49.99 and the digital deluxe edition costs US$69.99. In Battle for Azeroth, the fall of the Burning Legion sets off a series of disastrous incidents that reignites the conflict at the heart of the Warcraft saga. Most of the older expansions have focused on the uniting of the two factions with the hub town of every expansion being a place for Horde and Alliance alike to visit and quest in. Heroes of the Horde can enlist the Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne, and champions of the Alliance can add the Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves to their ranks. The discovery of Azerite, a new and valuable resource has reopened the rift between the two factions, the terse peace they brokered during the Legion expansion now well and truly over.

As for the Collector's Edition, this is sold for €99.99/£89.99 exclusively at retailers.

In addition to the in-game items from the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Collector's Edition contains a two-sided emblem with stand included, hardcover double-sided book Elegy & A Good War, and the digital soundtrack.

In the meantime, the next adventure begins August 14th! This bundle also includes a level-110 character boost, making it a ideal jumping-on point for new and returning players.
