Two Charged in String of Armed Winnipeg Robberies

On Friday police confirmed they had since arrested a youth, who has been charged with robbery and is in custody awaiting a youth justice court appearance.

Police say the suspect pointed what is believed to be a handgun at one of the pedestrians and demanded money.

The 22-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene and is now in custody facing several charges: forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, threatening and breach of a no-contact order.

Witnesses told police that two vehicles drove through the area and began shooting at each other.

Williams, 3611 Pittari Place, New Orleans, was booked into Parish Prison on a count of armed robbery.

Modesto police said Simpson is suspected of killing his wife, Shannon Simpson, Tuesday afternoon in their home and then fleeing in the Hyundai.

Police say about 11:15PM March 30, 2018, a male walked into the North Taylor Street Mini-Market at 301 North Taylor Street.

Fulton also faces charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident from an incident in February, during which police say he struck a pregnant woman with a stolen auto on Kimberly Drive.

The two juveniles were transported to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center; Fulton was transported to the DeKalb County Jail.

The Acting Cluster Commander of Port Alfred Colonel Lizette Zeelie said today, " This act by ruthless criminals is strongly condemned and is being investigated by a team of seasoned detectives.
