Apple called the new 2 reasons to switch from Android to iPhone

Contrary to Cook's statement, a recent survey report in the United States revealed that Apple's iPhone X sales seem to get diminished in the first quarter of 2018 while the sales of iPhone 8 or 8 Plus has risen up since the last quarter of 2017. Version 11.3.1 is quite small, but the update contains some important bug fixes and performance improvements.

But a year ago, Apple said that 79% of devices were running iOS 10, then the newest version of iOS, as of February 20, 2017, according to Cult of Mac.

Were you affected by the touchscreen issue? According to Apple, iOS 11.3.1 "addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 8 devices because they were serviced with non-genuine replacement displays".

APPLE HAS PUSHED OUT an update that fixes touchscreen borkage on iPhone 8 handsets that have undergone third-party screen replacements. To download, go to Settings General Software Update and then follow the on-screen instructions. All that ultimately pushed Apple to bring the new update that comes just in a month after the original iOS 11.3 release.

In a separate note, Apple warns that non-genuine replacement displays can compromise visual quality and may not even work as they should. Another report found that iPhone 8 phones using non-genuine Apple screens suddenly developed touchscreen issues when iOS 11.3 was installed.

Apple in a statement said that they have fixed the issue with the iOS update 11.3.1 but also warned people about using the third party fix shops for iPhone. The issue mostly existed in the manner Link Presentation handled URLs and it has been done away with by improved input validation. The update weighs around 47MB if downloaded as an Over-The-Air update.

Some iPhone 8 and iPhone X users encountered an error with the last patch, when third-party displays were rendered useless.
