StormTrack Weather: Warm temps. return for weekend

We will see a very sunny and dry stretch of days starting this weekend and going as far as next Friday. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. We will slowly clear out tonight with cloud cover and rain moving out. The increase in wind speeds and warmer temperatures will result in a high fire danger across the region.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. East wind around 5 miles per hour. South wind 5 to 8 miles per hour. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high around 58.

Today's high will be near 73 with sunny skies and a light west wind, increasing to 6 to 11 miles per hour in the morning, the weather service said. South winds will be increasing Sunday with gusts approaching 30-40 m.p.h.

Today Sunny, with a high near 78.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, warm and windy.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.

A chance of snow showers before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 10am and 11am, then a chance of rain showers after 11am.

Tuesday, expect a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., with a high of 79, the weather service said. Wednesday a few severe storms will be possible across the Concho Valley before more widespread storm chances Thursday and Friday. Partly sunny, with a high near 54.

There will be periods of rain today, with a high around 55.
