Apart from online stores, these phones are also available from Nokia Shop and other offline retail stores in India. Notably, Nokia 8 Sirocco can be booked on Flipkart while Nokia 7 Plus is available for pre-book on Amazon. Under the hood, the device will either be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor. It has 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.

It will not be a top of the range but it will be the first smartphone of the Chinese company HMD Global to have a 19:9 aspect ratio and a full-screen display with reduced edges. On the front, it sports a 5MP camera with 1.4um pixel size. The dual camera setup has a primary 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, while a 13-megapixel secondary sensor has an f/2.6 aperture. The glass body handset is IP67 rated water and dust resistant. It's also showcasing one device that hasn't been officially launched yet, the Nokia X.

The Nokia 7 Plus is fueled by a 3,800mAh battery which is claimed to last for two days. All of this is packed within a 7.5mm thin body. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, microUSB 2.0, and rear fingerprint sensor. It comes with 20GB additional data for prepaid Airtel subscribers that can be availed through each of the first six recharges (Rs. 199 and Rs. 349).

ICICI Bank credit & debit card holders will get 10 percent cashback on the purchase of the handset.

Additionally, consumers will get 25 percent instant discount on domestic hotels at MakeMyTrip.

The Nokia 7 Plus price in India is set at Rs. 25,999. The handset is available in two colours- black/copper and white/copper. The company is no stranger to bringing back nostalgic devices, having already released updates versions of the 3310, the 8110 and even the Scirocco name with the Nokia 8 Scirocco. There's a microSD card slot as well for storage expansion. The rear dual camera setup will consist of a pair of 12MP sensors with Carl ZEISS lens and will have phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording capability. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Moreover, Flipkart is offering an exchange discount of up to Rs. 19,000 in lieu of an old smartphone.
