Ant-Man and The Wasp opens in theaters on July 6

While Avengers: Infinity War is off breaking box office records, fans won't have to wait too long for the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It hits theaters on July 6 in the USA, with the United Kingdom release set for August 3.

However, in more recent years age these gaps have been getting shorter and shorter, with many big films - including most of Marvel's superhero movies and the Star Wars franchise - released in the United Kingdom on the day of or even a day before the USA release.

Some people have surmised that Ant-Man and the Wasp is set before the events of Infinity War considering the trailer did not paint the picture of a world that was dealing with half of its inhabitants suddenly gone.

The pic hits theaters July 6.

How do you think Ant-Man and the Wasp will play into Infinity War's conclusion?

This film also sees Laurence Fishburne join the MCU as Bill Foster, a.k.a. Goliath, who used to run around with Hank Pym's Ant-Man back in the day.

Let's get the most obvious thing out of the way first: Despite the teaser yesterday, there's absolutely nothing in the trailer to answer the question of where Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) were in Infinity War.

From the Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer, we can see that Hank has managed to design a craft that is able to navigate through the Quantum Realm which means progress has been made to understand it and ultimately get back his wife Janet. "For me, as a comic nerd, I have always thought of Ant-Man and Wasp as a team", he said.

In a recent interview with Comicbook, Peyton Reed described whether Ant-Man and The Wasp would be more romantic than the original.

Ant-Man is portrayed by Paul Rudd while Evangeline Lilly has taken on the role of the Wasp. Supposedly, we're going to see her in some form or another. The trailer of the film starts on a very intimate note with Scott Lang talking to his daughter about his superhero stint.

This will be so much more fun than Infinity War.

The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, who unfortunately does not appear in the video but popped up on the newly-released poster (below), Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip "T.I".
