Wenger in demand as he prepares for life after Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he has no intention of retiring and quitting football when he leaves Arsenal at the end of the season.

Cape Town - Former Arsenal and Nigeria striker Nwankwo Kanu has hailed the impact that departing Gunners manager Arsene Wenger had on his career in his youth. My brain demands work and is active.

'I must say the squad doesn't need much, because there's a huge potential in there.

"Koscielny is, of course, devastated because he had surgery", Wenger told a news conference ahead of Wednesday's Premier League trip to ninth-placed Leicester City.

It's yet another sign that Wenger is ready to continue managing, pointing to the fact that he was likely forced out of Arsenal by the board of directors after two hard seasons, ensuring a second season outside the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has said he expects coach Massimiliano Allegri to stay despite reports linking him with the Arsenal job.

Fabregas moved to Arsenal as a 16-year-old, and he opened up on why he was so keen to play under Wenger at that age.

"People want hope and they need as well to prepare for the next season".

He will now be out for six months and miss the World Cup. You will not see him before the end of December, or maybe the beginning of December at best'.

While we know that Wenger will be a pundit for the World Cup in Russian Federation over the summer, there hasn't been any indication as to what will follow. This might be the last time Jamie Vardy and Riyahd Mahrez play for the club so I am expecting the team to put up a good performance to farewell two of the clubs best players. If I was really objective then I would pick myself every week.
