Jazz's Dante Exum fouls Rockets' James Harden with his face

It's do-or-die for the Utah Jazz at Toyota Center on Tuesday night, and Rockets players and fans know the competition is going to be fierce. The Jazz updated their status for Tuesday but did not indicate a timetable for either to return.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert's: 12.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, two blocks.

The 23-year-old centre had six blocks to go with two steals, 15 rebounds and 12 points in Game 4, and even when he wasn't swatting Utah shots he was often altering them.

The MVP front-runner put up 14 first-quarter points - his most of the postseason - as the Rockets jumped to an 11-3 start. Despite the loss, rookie Donovan Mitchell rebounded from a terrible Game 3 performance to score 25 points and grab nine rebounds.

Anthony Davis had 26 points and 12 rebounds for New Orleans, but the Pelicans hit only 36 percent (32 of 88) of their shots, missing 22 of 26 3-point attempts.

Rubio has not played thus far in this series and barring game 2, when Donovan Mitchell had the lion's share of playmaking responsibilities, the Jazz have been visibly affected on both ends of the floor by Rubio's injury-enforced absence. "We've just got to go out there and keep fighting". Harden and Paul both went out of their way to make it clear how critical Capela's contributions are to the team's overall success. "The thing is, I know James".

Paul's certainly right to take a cautious approach but the truth is he's in a much better position this time around with this Rockets team.

The Houston Rockets can advance to the western conference finals for the second time in four years with a victory here.

"That game could have easily been a blowout and obviously 13 points is not a close game, but I thought the way our team is able to cut it the way they did says a lot about who they are", said Snyder.

However, the Jazz haven't made it to 100 points in each of their three losses, averaging just under 92 points per game. Houston had to rely on defense, and it proved up to the task until Mitchell caught fire late in the half, scoring eight consecutive points to pull the Jazz to within five points. "Everybody's banged up, hamstring, ankle, knee, whatever it is, we just try to play through it as much as we can".

Dante Exum was solid in the beginning with nine first-quarter points before picking up his third foul on Harden in the last 30 seconds.

"I get mad at the other teams when they throw our players down on the floor", Lane said.

Game 2 in Houston seems even more stunning, looking back, after what happened in Salt Lake City. The veteran poured in a team high 27 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists.

"We've got to win one game at Oracle and that's the one that we play next", Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said.

"With Clint back in the back, he just does a great job of giving guys confidence that he's going to raise some stuff at the rim", D'Antoni stated.
