Respawn Entertainment Announces Jedi: Fallen Order, Coming Holiday 2019

Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella just announced the name of their new Star Wars game, which we've known as being in development for a while.

Respawn's new narrative-driven Star Wars game is called Jedi Fallen Order and is set in the dark time between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, Respawn today revealed.

During EA's E3 presentation, Respawn's Vince Zampella was sat in the audience. With a title like that, it's probably not hard to discern what the game is about, but we'll dive into what we know below.

As many fans predicted, Respawn's mysterious Star Wars game did make a minor appearance at the Electronic Arts press conference. You'll be playing as a Jedi and of course, able to wield a lightsaber.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order might not be the linear, single-player experience initially proposed by Visceral Games, but maybe this change in direction was for the best.

Per Zampella, they will be mentioning a "juicy little tidbit" about one of the three projects that are now in development at Respawn.

While we wait for more information, the bigger announcements for Battlefront II, which includes the Solo: A Star Wars Story mission on Kessel, included another impending DLC involving The Clone Wars. The possibilities are endless for what could be in store for us when the Star Wars game arrives. It is now set to come out during Holiday 2019.

"We've got two words for you: woke porgs", the narrator continues. Although EA did not release any teaser trailer, it did reveal some vague details about it.
